William W. Northgrave is a member of McManimon & Scotland, L.L.C. and specializes in the representation of local governments and private entities specifically in the areas of long term tax exemption, redevelopment and related litigation, along with a substantial election law practice. Mr. Northgrave has worked on a number of redevelopment projects in Woodbridge, Montclair, Newark, West Orange, Tinton Falls, Haddon Township and Palmyra Borough, among others. In addition, Mr. Northgrave served as General Counsel to the New Jersey State Democratic Committee from 2006 to 2008 and regularly represents candidates and elected officials in election law matters. Mr. Northgrave began his legal career at Shanley & Fisher, P.C. before beginning his own practice in 1992. In 1998, Mr. Northgrave joined Hudson County, serving as chief of staff. He became County Counsel in 2000, joining McManimon & Scotland, L.L.C. at the same time as Counsel and joined the firm full time in 2002. Mr. Northgrave received his Bachelor of Arts degree in curso classico from St. Peter’s College in 1987. He obtained his Juris Doctoris degree in 1990 from Seton Hall University School of Law.
