Land Use / Real Estate ExpertisePrior to joining M&S, I spent 14 years of my career as a general counsel to real estate development companies, 2 years as counsel to a local zoning board, and 5 years early on in my career as a litigator dealing with landlord-tenant and sophisticated real estate development issues. I have experience in real property transactions, both purchase and sale and leasing of improved and unimproved real estate, including contract preparation and negotiation, due diligence, title matters, and financing documentation review. I also have experience dealing with ongoing operational matters and issues for owned properties. I have extensive experience in land use planning and zoning matters, having both managed major development projects and counseled and appeared before land use boards.
