Hello, I’m Erin and I have been with McManimon & Scotland, L.L.C. since 2005. I practice primarily in the fields of public finance, redevelopment, and economic development. I represent a vast cross section of private and public clients including municipalities, local and county authorities, redevelopment agencies, boards of education, and private development companies. At the firm, I am a team player and often work with a group of attorneys on complex transactions. I have also enjoyed working on projects independently. Each client has different needs and goals and my work with McManimon & Scotland, L.L.C. has given me the experience to tailor my practice to each client’s needs. I have assisted several municipalities and redevelopment agencies through all the stages of the redevelopment process. I am well versed in many of the issues that can come up during this process. Redevelopment is challenging and I enjoy being able to help my clients anticipate problems and find solutions. For the past several years I have represented dozens of borrowers through the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Trust Financing Program. Through this program I have helped various governmental entities finance a variety of projects including everything from the repainting of a water tower to the replacement of lead lined pipes, to the construction of a windmill. It is incredibly rewarding to work on these projects as each financing provides low-interest loans to governmental entities for the development of environmentally positive infrastructure. In 2001, I graduated from Douglass College of Rutgers University with a double major in Political Science and Administration of Justice. After college I attended the University Of Maryland School Of Law and graduated in 2003. During law school, I served as a Teaching Fellow for the business faculty. I am licensed to practice in both Maryland and New Jersey. Education
